With Super Bowl LII around the corner, the GoodBookey team is rallying to bring in bets for our Charity Partners through the GoodBookey App. We would have rallied for this regardless, but after learning exactly how much money Americans are anticipated to bet on the big game, we are on fire.

According to the American Gaming Association, Americans are expected to wager an estimated $4.76 billion on Super Bowl 52 between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. The AGA states that only 3% of that $4.76 billion will take place in Nevada and the rest will be placed with questionable offshore bookmakers and local bookies. Geoff Freeman, the president and CEO of AGA states, “The big question we’re asking: Is 2018 finally the year when governments, sporting bodies, and the gaming industry work together to put the illegal sport betting market out of business?” See more about this here.

The big question we’re asking at GoodBookey is, why not take even a percentage of the money you would wager on Super Bowl LII bets and put it towards a good cause through the GoodBookey App? Check out our Charity Partners, challenge a friend on this Sunday’s Super Bowl match through GoodBookey, and put your money where your heart is.
